France Quantum 2026 brought together researchers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors and industry leaders to explore the latest advances and challenges shaping the future of quantum technologies.

Camille Georges, Deputy Director of the EDHEC Quantum Institute and France Quantum Ambassador, moderated the panel discussion “The International Quantum Ecosystem: Collaboration & Cooperation Driving Progress.”

Alongside Jerry Sheehan, Director of the OECD Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation, Philippe Bouyer, Chair at QDNL, and Krzysztof Kurowski, Head of Quantum Technologies at the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center, she explored what makes a successful quantum ecosystem and how international cooperation can accelerate progress.

The discussion addressed the essential ingredients needed to turn scientific excellence into economic and societal impact, including effective innovation policies, access to talent and infrastructure, and stronger collaboration across national and institutional boundaries.

The event also offered valuable insights into the growing maturity of the quantum sector, from the scientific and energy challenges associated with fault-tolerant quantum computing to the development of increasingly interconnected European and international ecosystems.
